Mes Karlie’s Kookies faits maison • My homemade vegan Karlie’s Kookies

Ever since Spring started the weather has been really bad here, and the other day I was bored so I decided to bake! I’ve been watching the episode of Jourdan Dunn’s Well Dunn show on the Life&Times; YouTube channel and this time she invited her friend Karlie Kloss. Jourdan Dunn cooked the meal (Veggie Curry I think) and Karlie took care of the baking part by doing her famous Karlie’s Kookies recipe.
The kookies have been on sale since 2012’s Fashion Night Out at Momofuku Milk Bar in NYC.
I didn’t have all the ingredients at home so I tweaked the recipe a little: I used hazelnut flour instead of almond flour, and a banana to blend it all together instead of xantham gum.
The cookies were good but would crumple a little so a day after I baked them I put them back in the oven for a few minutes for them to dry out a bit more. Next time I do this recipe I’ll be sure to record the process!
